» » Hope Solo Announces She Is Running after President of the U.S. Soccer Federation



Hoping to add another title to her name. Expectation Solo is in the hurrying to end up leader of the U.S. Soccer Federation – and she's certain she's the one for the activity.

The World Cup champion, 36, reported her application for the position in a long Facebook post on Thursday, December 7, titled "Why I'm Running for President of U.S. Soccer."

"I know precisely what U.S. Soccer needs to do, I know precisely how to do it, and I have the backbone to complete it," she composed. "I have dependably been willing to forfeit for what I have faith in and I accept there is no more noteworthy forfeit at that point battling for square with circumstance, trustworthiness and genuineness, particularly in an association like the USSF that could give a lot more to our groups the country over."


The previous national group goalkeeper included, "The main path for American soccer to impel itself on the world's stage is by making a culture that is differing and by shedding an attitude that is not any more adequate," before she started posting the center standards on which she'll be crusading. Uniformity and ladies' issues, and youth and decent variety were among the rundown.

Solo is a standout amongst the most embellished players in U.S. soccer history. She spoke to the U.S. at three Olympic Games where she won two gold decorations, and three straight World Cups. In August 2016, she was suspended for a half year – and had her agreement ended – after she called the Swedish group "a cluster of defeatists" following Team USA's misfortune in the quarterfinals at the Rio Olympics.
