» » WATCH: The Voice's Addison Agen Reworks a Britney Spears Classic

The Voice's Addison Agen is feeling "fortunate."

The 16-year-old Indiana local, known for her extraordinarily profound voice, finished off Monday night's Top 10 exhibitions with a stripped down adaptation of "Fortunate" by Britney Spears wearing only a white shirt and pants on an uncovered stage. Despite the fact that Agen said she related profoundly to the melody, she conceded that she had never been a major enthusiast of the pop genius preceding the execution.

"It was an entire stun to me that I even sang this melody," Agen told correspondents after the live show. "It wasn't normal in any way. I don't know huge numbers of her tunes, it's not typically the stuff that I go tune in to. I found a cover online that was only an acoustic front of it, and it's as straightforward as that."

She proceeded: "On the off chance that you consider the verses, it's about this young lady growing up to be an enormous star, and there's this generation off camera that no one thinks about and they think you simply wake up idealize. Being on this show, I've understood it's a great deal of work to arrive."

Agen's execution was met with applaud by her mentor Adam Levine, who called her "the best craftsman in this opposition" and said she is "outstanding amongst other artists I know." Her previous mentor, Miley Cyrus, said "I have dependably felt you are a star."

After her version of Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You" a week ago, Levine anticipated that Agen would go ahead to win the opposition.

The night was brimming with young lady control as Team Miley's Brooke Simpson cut down the house with her chilling execution of "Astonishing Grace" and Team Blake Shelton's Chloe Kohanski by and by shook it out in front of an audience with Blondie's "Call Me." Keisha Renee, Team Blake's "nation pop soul" vocalist, overwhelmed everybody with her front of Celine Dion's "All By Myself."

Following Renee's sorrowful execution, Levine stated, "I am so pleased with you today for such huge numbers of reasons. It was conveyed to my consideration that some disdainful remarks were sent toward you by contemptuous defeatists. Today around evening time you were talking specifically to them."

Renee clarified what Levine implied after the show, saying, "I'm an African American lady doing blue grass music thus many individuals that are still little disapproved of feel like I shouldn't do blue grass music in view of the shade of my skin."
